First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) is looking to hire an Operations Support Officer for its Information Technology division at Head Office, Karachi, to support the retail-banking side of its Core Banking System. Core duties include executing and monitoring End of Day and Start of Day batch cycles, investigating and resolving production issues affecting branches and retail-banking interfaces, and coordinating with business users, vendors, and internal IT teams to fix incidents and roll out approved changes. The officer will also administer application user access, support production deployments, disaster-recovery activities and user-acceptance testing, and prepare retail-banking, regulatory and reconciliation reports in a way that satisfies SBP data-accuracy requirements. The officer is also expected to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement within Retail Banking operations, helping the bank tighten its processes as transaction volumes grow.

FWBL is seeking a bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with two to four years of relevant experience in core banking operations, IT operations, production support, banking application support, or financial-services technology more broadly. Familiarity with EOD/SOD processing, production support workflows, user access management, regulatory reporting and general IT service management is expected, since the role bridges technical troubleshooting with day-to-day banking operations.
