First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) is hiring an Officer IT Governance for its Information Technology division at Head Office, Karachi, to support the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the bank's IT governance framework. First Women Bank Limited was established under a special mandate to advance the economic and financial inclusion of women across Pakistan, and operates today as a State Bank of Pakistan-regulated scheduled commercial bank with a nationwide branch network. The role is designed to help ensure the bank stays compliant with regulatory requirements such as State Bank of Pakistan guidelines, internal IT policies, and recognized industry frameworks. Responsibilities include assisting in the rollout of governance policies, standards and procedures, monitoring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, supporting IT risk assessments, and maintaining risk and control documentation. The officer will also coordinate governance, audit and compliance activities including tracking observations and action plans, prepare governance dashboards and management reports, and liaise regularly with IT, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and business units on governance-related matters. Beyond day-to-day monitoring, the officer contributes to awareness initiatives that help embed governance thinking across IT and business teams, and supports the continuous refinement of the bank's governance processes as regulatory expectations evolve.

FWBL is seeking a bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with three years of relevant experience in IT governance, IT risk, IT audit, or information security, preferably gained within the banking or financial sector. Familiarity with governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001 and ITIL, an understanding of SBP regulatory requirements around IT and cybersecurity, and strong analytical, documentation and communication skills are listed as preferred attributes, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
