About This Job

Global Investment Gateway of Punjab (GIGP), the Government of the Punjab's dedicated investment-facilitation platform, has advertised one contract-based vacancy for Director, Aftercare and Expansion. This role is responsible for GIGP's investor-retention and reinvestment mandate, building an after-care framework under which every significant operating investor in Punjab is assigned a dedicated Key Account Manager, a defined engagement calendar and a satisfaction-assessment protocol. The Director will conduct annual strategic account reviews for major investors, benchmarking their operational performance against competing jurisdictions and developing customised reinvestment proposals, and will establish a formal investor grievance-resolution mechanism with clear response and resolution timelines, coordinating with relevant provincial departments to clear operational bottlenecks. The position also carries responsibility for building a local supplier linkage programme connecting foreign investors with Punjab-based suppliers, administering periodic investor satisfaction surveys, and tracking post-investment KPIs such as employment generation, capital expenditure, export volumes and technology transfer for GIGP's aggregate impact reporting. The Director will also establish a formal investor engagement platform comprising quarterly roundtables, sector working groups and an annual appreciation event, giving GIGP a structured, recurring forum for dialogue with its existing community of operating investors, and will proactively identify reinvestment and expansion opportunities using industry intelligence and global trend analysis.

Candidates should hold a Master's degree (16 years of education) in Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Development, Engineering, International Business, or Public Policy from an HEC-recognized institution, with preference given to graduates of globally recognized universities, and a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in investor aftercare, business development, and/or investment attraction. The position is open to both men and women between 40 and 55 years of age, will be offered on a contract basis, and requires a Punjab domicile.

Interested candidates meeting the above criteria can apply online through the official Punjab Job Portal at jobs.punjab.gov.pk before the closing date of 20 September 2026. No application fee is stated on the advertisement, and GIGP has indicated an attractive lump-sum pay package commensurate with the selected candidate's qualification and experience, though a specific figure has not been disclosed. Candidates who do not already hold a Punjab domicile can obtain one through the Government of Punjab's Dastak doorstep-delivery initiative, reachable via helpline 1202 or the Dastak mobile app and web portal, ahead of applying. Given the direct role this Directorship plays in retaining and expanding Punjab's existing investor base, candidates with relevant investor-relations or account-management experience are encouraged to apply before the deadline.
