About This Job

Global Investment Gateway of Punjab (GIGP), the Government of the Punjab's dedicated investment-facilitation platform, has advertised one contract-based vacancy for Director, Investor Facilitation. This Directorate is responsible for turning GIGP's single-window promise into an operational reality, building an end-to-end facilitation system that covers investor onboarding, case assessment, approval tracking, site-selection support and project grounding, modelled on international investor-services practice. The Director will be required to establish binding MOUs with every provincial department involved in investment approvals - including Industries, Revenue, the Environmental Protection Agency, Energy, Labour, Local Government, and Excise & Taxation - each specifying turnaround times and escalation triggers, and will lead a dedicated Relationship Management model that assigns case officers to major projects with authority to convene inter-departmental coordination meetings. The role also requires close coordination with federal entities such as SIFC, BOI, MoFA, TDAP and the Ministry of Commerce on matters including visa facilitation, federal incentive packages and SEZ approvals. The Director will further be responsible for implementing GIGP's real-time investor-relationship-management system, developing investor guides and process maps for major approval categories such as land acquisition, utility connections and environmental clearances, and designing the escalation protocol connecting unresolved bottlenecks to the Secretary GIGP and, where necessary, the Chief Minister's Office.

Applicants should hold a Master's degree (16 years of education) in Business Administration (MBA), Public Policy, Public Administration, Finance, or Law from an HEC-recognized institution, with preference given to graduates of globally recognized universities, and a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in investor facilitation, regulatory affairs, and/or one-window operations spanning multiple agencies at the federal and provincial government levels. The position is open to both men and women aged 40 to 55, will be filled on a contract basis, and requires the applicant to hold a Punjab domicile.

Interested and qualified candidates can apply online via the official Punjab Job Portal at jobs.punjab.gov.pk before the closing date of 20 September 2026. No application fee is mentioned on the advertisement, and GIGP has indicated that the chosen candidate will receive an attractive lump-sum pay package in line with their qualification and experience, although the exact figure has not been disclosed. Candidates who do not already hold a Punjab domicile can obtain one through the Government of Punjab's Dastak doorstep-delivery initiative, reachable via helpline 1202 or the Dastak mobile app and web portal, ahead of applying. Given the cross-government coordination this Directorship demands, candidates with a strong regulatory-affairs or one-window operations background are encouraged to apply well ahead of the deadline.
