Global Investment Gateway of Punjab (GIGP), the Government of the Punjab's dedicated investment-facilitation platform, has advertised one contract-based vacancy for General Manager, Support Services. This role is responsible for building and running GIGP's internal corporate functions - human resources, finance, procurement, IT and administration - from the ground up, calibrated for a high-performance autonomous body competing for private-sector talent. The General Manager will architect GIGP's HR function, including service rules, compensation frameworks, performance management systems and recruitment procedures, and will oversee the organisation's financial management, covering annual budget preparation, cash-flow monitoring, financial reporting and compliance with Punjab government financial regulations and audit standards. The role also carries responsibility for managing all procurement activity under Punjab Public Procurement rules, coordinating with internal and external auditors to maintain clean audit outcomes, and directing the deployment and maintenance of GIGP's IT infrastructure, including its CRM system, investment portal and cybersecurity protocols, alongside management of GIGP's physical facilities and protocol operations, ensuring office spaces and investor-reception areas project institutional professionalism and coordinating logistics for events, delegation hosting and official functions. The General Manager will also lead all recruitment and onboarding activity, designing merit-based selection processes with assessment centres and interview panels aligned to GIGP's service regulations and government oversight requirements.

Candidates should hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, or Commerce from an HEC-recognized institution, or a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or ACMA from a duly recognized institution, with preference given to graduates of globally recognized institutions, together with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a senior leadership role spanning HR, Accounting & Finance, IT, and/or Administration functions. The position is open to both men and women between 35 and 50 years of age, will be offered on a contract basis, and requires a Punjab domicile.
