Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has advertised a vacancy for the position of Delivery Manager - Customer Onboarding, based at Habib Bank Plaza in Karachi within the bank's Core Banking Transformation programme. Like its sister Payments role, this position combines project and programme management with technical knowledge of core-banking migration, with the successful candidate owning a delivery bucket focused specifically on customer onboarding. Responsibilities include analyzing and redesigning end-to-end onboarding journeys across Retail, SME, Corporate and Digital Banking channels, supporting the rollout of onboarding capabilities on the bank's new core-banking platform, defining future-state account-opening and customer-maintenance processes, and helping implement a single customer view and Customer Information File (CIF) architecture. The role also involves coordinating closely with Temenos or the designated implementation partner, tracking vendor performance against contractual agreements, and managing change requests affecting the onboarding delivery bucket.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, with a PMP or equivalent project/delivery-management certification considered desirable. HBL is asking for an overall seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in banking, project management or technology management at a leading bank or financial institution, given the scope of stakeholder coordination — spanning engineering, enterprise architecture, infrastructure/operations teams and external vendors — that the role demands.
Interested candidates should apply online through HBL's official careers portal at HBL People (hblpeople.com), linking through to the bank's Oracle-hosted recruitment platform; no postal, email or walk-in application route is mentioned. The vacancy was posted on 18 September 2026 and will remain open for applications until 3 October 2026, after which shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly by HBL's HR team.
