The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi has invited applications for the position of Head Nurse in the Department of Medicine. The Head Nurse provides leadership in executing quality patient care, ensures patient-focused care through multidisciplinary team coordination for round-the-clock operations, supports continuous quality improvement, manages staff development activities, and oversees the human and material resources of the assigned service to build an efficient and motivated care team. This is a regular position at AKU's tertiary care hospital in Karachi.

Candidates must hold a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school, preferably with a Master's degree in the same field, and a valid license from the Pakistan Nursing Council. At least four years of relevant experience is required, of which a minimum of two years should be at a nursing management level. Candidates must also hold certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Safe Medication Administration, Aseptic Techniques, I/V Cannulation, and Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and be willing to work morning, evening and night shift duties.
