NTISB (National Telecommunication and Information Security Board) has advertised one contract-basis vacancy for Deputy Director (Integration), PPS-10, based in Islamabad, through the National Jobs Portal. This role sits within NTISB's technical integration function, tasked with coordinating cyber security systems, onboarding new security tools, and managing cross-project integration efforts across the organization's national security infrastructure. As a deputy-director-level federal cyber security posting, it is intended for an experienced professional capable of bridging project management with hands-on technical integration work. NTISB frequently runs multiple parallel technical workstreams across its cyber-security portfolio, and the Integration function exists specifically to keep these workstreams synchronized and interoperable.
Eligible applicants must have at least 18 years of education at the MS or PhD level, majoring in Cyber Security, Network Security, or Information Security, with a long list of acceptable qualifications including MS Computer Science, MS Information Technology, PhD Computer Engineering, PhD Information Technology, PhD Computer Science, PhD Cryptography, MS Telecommunication Engineering, MS Electronics Engineering, and MS Computer Software Engineering among more than 40 recognized degree titles. An international certification in Cyber Security such as CISM, CISSP, or ISO27001 (or an equivalent) is a requirement, while project-management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are strongly desired additions. On the experience front, candidates need a minimum of 12 years of overall professional experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Information/Cyber Security/ICT work, plus demonstrated project management experience gained in either the public or private sector. The age bracket runs from 34 to 50 years, with the standard five-year general relaxation already included in the upper limit and no further relaxation admissible.
Interested candidates should apply through the National Jobs Portal by logging into their PAK-ID verified account (or creating one), completing the online form, and uploading their CV together with educational and experience certificates. No application fee is mentioned for this post. Applications must be submitted before the closing date of 12 October 2026. Professionals with a strong blend of technical cyber-security credentials and proven project management or systems integration experience in government or large organizational settings are encouraged to apply before the window closes. Since this is a contract appointment rather than a permanent civil-service post, terms of engagement, including tenure and renewal, will be governed by NTISB's own contract policy as communicated to shortlisted candidates. Given the specialised mix of technical and project-management skills this role demands, candidates are advised to clearly highlight both their cyber-security credentials and any large-scale integration or coordination projects they have delivered when submitting their application.
