The Punjab Rural Municipal Services Company (PRMSC), operating under the Local Government & Community Development Department, Government of Punjab, has announced one vacancy for a GIS Specialist under the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project. The role involves reviewing available GIS resources, identifying gaps, assisting in procuring appropriate GIS hardware and software, and developing mapping systems to support water supply, sanitation, and waste management infrastructure planning across the project's rural Punjab tehsils. The position is based in Lahore on a contract basis under the PPS-09 scale.

Candidates must hold a Master's degree (16 years of education) in GIS or Space Sciences along with at least 8 years of relevant experience in GIS mapping, management information systems, or database administration, including a minimum of 4 years on similar project assignments. The age limit for this post is 18 to 60 years, it is open to both genders, and a Punjab domicile is required. The monthly salary for the position ranges from PKR 400,000 to PKR 410,000.
