The Information Department, Government of Sindh, has advertised fifteen regular posts of Junior Clerk in BPS-11 on the Sindh Job Portal, making it the second-largest listing in the department's current recruitment round. Rather than being concentrated in Karachi, these posts are spread across the department's regional public relations offices: three at the Director Public Relations Information office in Benazirabad, two each in Jacobabad, Sukkur and Mirpurkhas, and one each in Sanghar, Naushahro Feroze, Shahdadkot at Kambar, Shikarpur, Kashmore and Umerkot. Nine of the seats are allocated to rural Sindh and six to urban Sindh. The Information Department is the provincial government's public relations and media wing, handling press releases, photography, film and electronic media coverage of government activities, so its support and technical staff work closely with the department's press, film and regional information offices.

Applicants must hold a graduation degree in at least second division from a university recognised by the Higher Education Commission, together with a six-month certificate course in MS Office from an institute recognised by the Sindh Board of Technical Education or the Trade Testing Board. No prior experience is required. The age limit for this post is 21 to 28 years, slightly higher at the lower end than the department's matric-level posts, with the usual five-year relaxation under Government of Sindh policy. Candidates are shortlisted on the IBA Sukkur Testing Services Graduation Certificate test with a minimum score of 40, and a minimum of 33 percent marks is recorded against the qualification. Since seats are divided between rural and urban Sindh, the portal will match each applicant to the right pool using the taluka in their profile, so accuracy there matters. The MS Office certificate is a firm requirement here, so graduates without one from an SBTE- or TTB-recognised institute will not qualify.

There is no application fee at all, and the portal explicitly warns that anyone asking for money on its behalf is not connected with it.
