About This Job

A fresh job notification from Information Technology covers 1 Linux System Administrator position on a permanent basis. Applications are accepted from both male and female candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by ZTBL.

The posting will be at ZTBL Head Office, Islamabad. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Information Technology within Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

Candidates must be between 18 and 50 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

Educational requirement: Minimum Bachelor's degree from HEC recognized Institute/University (National/International); preference to candidates with Red Hat/Oracle Linux Certification; designing & development of multisite, scalable, highly available, secure, mission critical infrastructure over Linux environment (RHEL, Enterprise Linux, CentOS) and VMWare. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Experience requirement: Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.

An interview will form part of the final selection stage. Only candidates who clear the written test and any preliminary screening will be invited. Candidates should bring original documents for verification.
