The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advertised a contractual vacancy for the post of Assistant Director (Governance, Risk Assessment and Compliance) based in Quetta, covering NADRA's Quetta region information-security function. The selected candidate will be responsible for applying frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and the CIS Controls to NADRA's systems, staying current with security best practices, supporting formal security assessments, and independently conducting compliance audits against ISO standards and NADRA's own information-security policies.

Eligibility requires a four-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university, with the degree required to carry HEC attestation, along with a minimum of two years of post-graduation experience specifically in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance roles; professional certification in ISO-27001, CISM or CISA is preferred though not stated as mandatory. Beyond the formal criteria, the role calls for a working understanding of threat landscapes, vulnerabilities and attack vectors, proficiency in drafting information-security policies, SOPs and instructions, familiarity with the incident-response lifecycle including incident-report generation and use of SOAR tooling, hands-on exposure to EPP/EDR security solutions, and experience delivering security-awareness training to both technical and non-technical audiences, backed by strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging senior management. The maximum age limit is 37 years, already inclusive of the standard five-year general age relaxation.
