The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advertised a contractual vacancy for the post of Deputy Assistant Director (Junior DevOps Engineer) at its headquarters in Islamabad. The role sits within NADRA's software-delivery and platform-operations team, and the selected candidate will be expected to work with web servers, Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines, alongside scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash or Ruby, to help automate and streamline how NADRA's applications are built, tested and deployed.

Eligibility requires a minimum of sixteen years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university, with all degrees needing HEC attestation, and zero to one year of relevant experience, with fresh graduates explicitly encouraged to apply. The advertisement also expects familiarity with configuration-management and automation tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet, containerization services including Docker and Kubernetes, streaming and messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka, and hands-on exposure to managing data sources like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis; prior development experience in cloud environments is expected, and working knowledge of Azure or similar cloud platforms is listed as preferred. The maximum age limit is 30 years, already inclusive of the standard five-year general age relaxation, and successful candidates must be prepared to work in any shift as operational needs require.
