Network Engineer - WAN Operations (OG-II/OG-I)

About This Job

National Bank of Pakistan is recruiting Network Engineers - WAN Operations (OG-II/OG-I) within its Information Technology area, with positions available at both Karachi and Lahore, reporting to the Unit Head - WAN Operations.

Candidates need a minimum Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (or Graduation with a Master's in the same field) from a HEC-recognized institution, with relevant certifications preferred, plus at least four years of IT networking experience covering switching, firewalls, or routers, including two years specifically in Network WAN Operations, preferably at a bank. Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing Layer 2/Layer 3 metro WAN networks, configuring routers/switches/firewalls, administering security and monitoring tools, maintaining redundant connectivity across all POPs, and remediating vulnerabilities identified through audits.

Qualification Required
