The University of the Punjab has announced recruitment for the post of Security Guard on a daily-wages/contingent basis under Advertisement No. 1309, based at the university's main campus in Lahore. The selected candidate will be responsible for watch-and-ward duties, access control and general security of university premises, working in shifts as assigned by the security office. Candidates should hold at least a Middle/Matric certificate, with ex-servicemen and those with prior security or watch-and-ward experience given preference; applicants must be physically fit and medically sound. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of the closing date; both male and female candidates from all domiciles may apply. Interested candidates must apply online exclusively through http://111.68.103.6/nonteaching; applications submitted by any other means will not be accepted. A signed hard copy of the online application form, along with a CV, attested certificates and a recent photograph, must be submitted to the Registrar's office at Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore before the closing date of 5 August 2026.
