Programme Officer (Information Technology)

About This Job

The Information Technology department of the Government of Punjab is recruiting 1 Programme Officer to be based in Lahore on a contract basis. The role supports coordination and monitoring functions for departmental technology programmes, working alongside programme managers and technical teams to keep initiatives on schedule and properly documented.

Eligible candidates must hold a Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree representing 16 years of education in Business Administration, Computer Engineering/Sciences, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Sciences or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The age bracket for applicants is 24 to 45 years, open to both male and female candidates who hold Punjab domicile. As a Programme Officer, the incumbent is expected to support programme coordination, stakeholder liaison, documentation and reporting functions typical of technology-programme management roles within a public-sector IT department.
