Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), the country's dedicated agricultural development bank, is hiring two Money Market Settlement Officers at the OG-II/OG-I grade for its Karachi office, a Treasury-facing role responsible for the accurate settlement and reconciliation of the Bank's money-market and treasury transactions. The position sits within ZTBL's Treasury operations and covers day-to-day settlement of deals, RTGS and Raast payment-system activity, and coordination with the State Bank of Pakistan and other commercial banks on clearing and reporting -- functions that are essential to keeping the Bank's treasury books accurate and its regulatory reporting on schedule. The officers will work under the four-eye principle on RTGS and Raast system activity and will liaise regularly with the Treasury Front Office and other commercial banks on deal confirmations and clearing.

To be eligible, candidates need a minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university, whether obtained locally or abroad, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in settlement operations. Job duties include reconciling bank accounts, managing vouchers, advices, deals and cheques exchanged with SBP and other banks, preparing DAP and MMCRS regulatory reports, handling NIFT clearing coordination with the Head Office Clearing Branch, and producing reports covering investment positions and outstanding borrowing, lending, and placement activity. The maximum age limit for this OG-II/OG-I grade post is 40 years as of the closing date, and no domicile restriction has been specified.
