The Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's agency for building and running hydropower stations, is hiring ten Assistant Station Attendants (ASA) in BPS-6 on a regular basis for its 40.8 MW Koto Hydropower Complex in District Dir (Lower). The advertisement, dated 12 October 2026 and published on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Portal, covers twenty posts in all for the plant's operation and maintenance staff, and the Assistant Station Attendant role is the largest group. Station attendants help run a hydropower plant day to day, keeping an eye on machines and equipment, recording readings, assisting engineers with shifts and routine maintenance, and making sure the station keeps producing power safely. The academic requirement is a Matric in Science with first division. The upper age limit for this post is 30 years, although under Regulation 10 of the PEDO Regulations 2024 the competent authority may relax the upper age by up to ten years for eligible candidates. Only people holding a domicile of District Dir (Lower), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can apply. Quotas for women, minorities, persons with disabilities, transgender persons and others will be kept, subject to merit and the availability of eligible candidates. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, with shortlisting done under the selection criteria in the PEDO Regulations 2024, and anyone who gives false information about domicile, education, experience or age, or tries to influence selection, will be disqualified.
